Zawadi Chikwakwani Women Group members were trained by EPTF on Enterprise development and Table Banking in April 2018 under the MEDS project. They used the Table Banking Skills gained to improve their group by starting to save money together. The group now has 25 members who save 270/- every week.
From the skills they gained during the entrepreneurship training, they submitted a proposal to World Bank through the Mwache Dam Project being developed in Kasemeni Ward and were awarded a grant of 425,000/-From this, they bought equipment for events which they hire out eg. Chairs and cooking equipment. They have a plan to buy each member improved breeds of goats for milk production.

This group continues to have a thriving relationship with EPTF as they seek to inspire and transform their local community.
