SUMMARY OF THE CAST PROJECT;

This project was an electoral process awareness campaign initiative that targeted the youth, men and women.

THE SET OBJECTIVES WERE;

  1. To sensitize and increase the capacity of youth in peace building and conflict prevention through two tournaments in Nakuru and Eldoret.
  2. To educate the youth, men and women on their rights and responsibilities to fully participate in the democratic governance process through a peace building program.

LOCATION: The CAST project was implemented in NAKURU and ELDORET these being the areas which were adversely affected by the 2007/2008 Post Election Violence.
