Big Ship CBO is renowned for environmental conservation within communities and working towards having a clean and healthy environment for sustainable growth & development in Mikindani, Jomvu Sub County in Mombasa.
Big Ship CBO does tremendous work mainly on mangrove ecosystem protection and restoration, waste material recovery, community empowerment and education. Its projects and operations cover an area of 5km from the shores of Tudor Creek.
The Navigators (EPTF) Kenya Trust has partnered with Big Ship CBO to provide the youth and women with entrepreneurship skills, financial literacy and business mentorship in line with their goals in development of low carbon value chains.
