I joined EPTF in March 2015. As a Project Officer, my primary role is ensuring project success within the designated area. This involves providing technical support, coordinating with the program manager, and monitoring project progress. I contribute to planning, implementation, and completion by offering technical insights. Additionally, I ensure timely delivery of project outcomes, adhering to EPTF’s established tools and standards.

EPTF is a powerful tool for fostering thriving communities where individuals can live with dignity and reap the rewards of their hard work. Witnessing the positive impact our work has on communities inspires me daily. The growth and development we foster motivate me to strive for even greater change.

I find great joy in working with rural communities in Kwale, immersing myself in their culture and unlocking their God-given potential. As Isaiah 57:14 states, “Build up, build up, prepare the way! Remove the stumbling block out of the way of my people,” I believe our work is addressing the challenges of job scarcity, illiteracy, inequality, and climate change. Through EPTF, we minister to people’s hearts, connecting with them and revealing the love of God and his great sacrifice for sin.

Haranga Mwangolo Fingo from Lutsangani, Gandini location Kwale County, is a boda boda operator who was one of our participants in past projects. He was trained in entrepreneurship skills and has been able to grow his enterprise at his rural home. He was able to buy his motorbike and build a house for his nuclear family and he has been instrumental in supporting Navigators EPTF Kenya Trust in the current project in the area. He helps recruit, mobilise and implement activities in the project area.

In addition to my work with EPTF, my wife Charity and I serve in the children’s department at Barnabas East Africa Church. I’m also actively involved with the Navigators Mombasa and occasionally lead Bible studies among students.”
