UBUNTU SOCIAL CAPITAL INITIATIVE PROJECT

Ubuntu means “You are, because we are” Through this project we seek to enhance the participation of both the urban and rural poor hoseholds in the sustainable socio-economic development of their communities; building their capacities in enterprise development and agribusiness while facilitating financial access.

OBJECTIVES:

  1. To equip 500 entrepreneurs with knowledge and skills that will enable them to establish and manage profitable enterprises in the counties by 2018.
  2. To facilitate 150 youths with acquisition of relevant trade/technical skills that will enable them transition into the labor market productively.
  3. To facilitate 500 participants of the entrepreneurship training programs with the setting-up of income generating activities along established value chains.
