Fatuma Ngombeko is an entrepreneur in Lutsangani, Gandini Location in Kwale county. She has been selling prawns for the last 10years. She received entrepreneurship training in 2017 under the EPTF MEDS Project. Her highlight during the training was learning about money management, marketing and business expansion. She now supplies prawns in Kwale Town Market. As a result, her profit has grown to 500/- to 2000/- per day from what used to be 200/- per day.
Training on financial literacy and Table banking has enabled her to access affordable credit from her Table banking Group (Jibidishe Lutsangani SILC Group). Fatuma has witnessed improved living standards because she is now able to meet her needs and that of her family members through the income she makes through her business.
