Ezekiel Mwangoa embodies the words of; Zechariah 7:9 “This is what the LORD Almighty said: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another”.
He does this by advocating for gender rights in Kasemeni Ward, Kinango Sub-County, Kwale County. He is one of the volunteers trained by EPTF on Gender Rights and Peer-To-Peer Counseling Training in March 2018 under the MEDS Project. Because of what he learnt, he is able to reach out to vulnerable girls in his community. Among other key issues, Ezekiel addresses; teenage pregnancies, early marriages, sex for money and the risks and infection of HIV/AIDS. He desires to witness behavioral change and delayed parenting among the girls he works with.
Since 2018 March, Ezekiel has been able to reach out to more than 350 girls from Kasemeni Ward. He is a community leader at Bofu Village where he is committed to building his community and bring transformation.
