Boniface Anzere is a 22 years old young man from Uasin Gishu County.
Growing up, Mr. Anzere had his share of challenges. Being the second born of eight children and having a father struggling with alcoholism, Anzere was unable to enroll in school for basic education. He had to learn how to read and write through his friends.
Anzere’s church in Eldoret, Christ is the Answer Ministries (CITAM) took him in and supported him by enrolling him to the EPTF entrepreneurship training under the Ubuntu Social Capital Initiative Project funded by the Swedish Mission Council. His vision of becoming a world class photographer became clearer as the training went on.
During the training in May 2016, Anzere was able to learn about basic business skills such as money management, sales and marketing, business record keeping and business plan development. EPTF immediately enrolled Anzere into a mentorship programme and that is when he officially registered his company known as Kabana Production, which is in the start up phase.
EPTF will continue to support and monitor Anzere’s business growth through the Business Development Support Services we provide.
Anzere now supports his family financially and has enrolled three of his younger siblings in school.
“I want to give my siblings an opportunity I never had,”
Anzere says
