PASCAL WAMBUA MUSYOKA
BOARD CHAIRMANPascal has fourteen (14) years progressive project management and resource mobilization experience in the NGO sector, both local and INGO. The experience includes individual grant acquisition and management, Partnership development, capacity development. He is also an excellent trainer and facilitator with numerous certificates and experiences as a trainer and facilitator. He has a strong programming background in Health, Education, Youth Employability, Alternative Childcare, Advocacy and Emergency programs. He has experience in different donor requirements. USAID, EU,BMZ, SIDA,GFFO,DERF, Comic Relief, DFID e.t.c. and has consulted for World Vision, Trocaire, Chemonics and Leonard Cheshire Disability, among others.
He is currently the Regional Head of Institutional Partnership Development (IPD) Department at SOS Children’s Villages International, Eastern & Southern Africa. A role that covers 26 countries in the region.
ALEX KIAMBA
THE NATIONAL DIRECTOR, NAVIGATORS KENYAAlex Kiamba has served on staff with the Navigators for over 20 years and is currently the National Director for the Navigators Kenya.
He attained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology from Egerton University in 2004, a Certificate in Pastoral Care from St. John’s College in Nottingham, UK in 2015 and a Master of Arts in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary, US in 2024.
Alex believes that EPTF ministry is key to advancing the Gospel through entrepreneurs and micro small-scale business people in rural and urban places. It does not stop with business training, EPTF trains people to run kingdom-minded enterprises. Alex believes EPTF transforms communities to become vital in reaching other communities and supporting ministry ventures within their contexts and beyond. They disciple and help many become labourers for the kingdom next door, to everywhere.
DR. HELLEN W. SANG
BOARD MEMBERShe holds a B.Ed. Science degree from Kenyatta University, a Diploma in Human Resource management from the Kenya Institute of Management, both a Master of Science in Human Resource Management and a PhD. in Human Resource Management from JKUAT. A committed Human Resource Developer with over 20 years’ experience in teaching and training. She has worked as a trainer, a high school teacher and as a Human Resource Officer. She is currently a lecturer and head of department in the School of Business and Economics at the University of Kabianga, Kericho County. She is a consultant in the area of Human Resource Management. She is a certified John Maxwell Team member as well as a certified John Maxwell Trainer and coach in the area of leadership and personal development. She is a committed Christian and is married with three children.
WANJIRU NG’ETHE
Board MemberWanjiru Ng’ethe is a Risk Management professional in the international development sector
with over 11 years’ experience in enterprise risk, compliance, and internal audit fields. She
strives to bring value to teams by building, maintaining, and improving good governance and
organization-wide responsibility through proactive risk management and effective internal
control programs towards achieving organizational objectives. She supports country offices
across Africa, Meso-America & South East Asia, and previously worked as Head of Internal Audit
in a listed insurance company in Kenya.
She is a certified Lean Practitioner with a strong focus on efficiency and continuous
improvement. She is also a graduate of USIU-Africa with a Masters in Business Administration in
Finance. She holds certifications in Enterprise Risk Management, is a Certified Information
Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA –
Kenya).
JACKTONE OTIENO
BOARD MEMBERJacktone Otieno is the Co-Founder- LOIS Events Managers, Founder & CEO- Bamba Studio, Director- Sauti One and Board Member- EPTF Kenya. He is a passionate media and events specialist who seeks to be a great asset to Africa by creating memorable experiences and developing wholesome content that will not only impact a diverse audience in Africa but the rest of the world. He has excellent managerial and strategic leadership skills and a passion to see the company deliver what it promises. He is passionate about entrepreneurship, mentorship and leadership and hopes to impact generations with EPTF.
SHARON CHAHALE WATA
BOARD MEMBERMrs Sharon Chahale Wata is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She holds an LLB from the
University of Nairobi and LLM in Intellectual property law from the University of Turin, Italy. She
has also undertaken courses in Senior Management and Strategic Leadership Development at the
Kenya School of Government. She is currently the Deputy Director- Training and Research at the
Kenya Copyright Board. An accomplished intellectual property lawyer with 14 years industry
experience having served as copyright prosecutor, CEO of a Collective Management Organization
as well as intellectual property trainer and successfully discharged associated responsibilities. She has
past consultancy experience in various areas including Intellectual property law, environmental law,
human rights, democracy and governance issues. Her leadership credibility and knowledge in
Intellectual Property has been recognized as highly dependable.
DENNIS OKORE
Board MemberDennis is a private sector development practitioner who blends public policy and communications to catalyse results using human-centered and systemic change approaches. He has 15 years of expertise and understanding in government relations, public affairs, communications, and sustainability through his work in the media, legal, ICT4D, health, humanitarian, and extractive industries. He has designed and implemented cross-sector SME programmes to help SMEs become more competitive by fostering market connections, skill development, and investment readiness. He has worked with both public and private partners to lead and design cross-sector and multi-stakeholder engagement initiatives.
He is a graduate student in public policy and management at the Strathmore Business School in Kenya and holds a bachelor’s degree in arts in communications and media technology from Maseno University in Kenya. Themes of interest include public policy, frugal and disruptive technologies (4IR), sustainability and innovation, smart cities, and development. He is a member of the Kenyan International Relations Society, the Kenyan Photographers Association, and the Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK). He is a start-up and business mentor at Enpact and Nairobi Techstars Start-up Innovation, and a judge for a number of hackathons and business and technology contests in Africa.
JEFF THEMBA
Board MemberJeff has a proven track record of leading, coordinating and managing complex programs, investment mandates, research, and technical assistance assignments for DFIs, development partners, foundations, impact funds, financial institutions, enterprise support organizations, and companies. He has consulted for organizations such as the World Bank, Mastercard Foundation, various USAID funded projects including Kenya Investment Mechanism (KIM), Uganda Strategic Investment Activity (SIA), Aceli Africa, AGRA, SIDA, Pangea Trust, KCB Foundation, AECF, among others.
He has contributed to thought leadership on Access to Finance by providing actionable recommendations that are pivotal to SME and private sector development across Africa through five reports that he has co-authored that are publications published in various journals/websites.
Through his work, Jeff has engaged with partners and clients in 15+ African markets Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Zambia, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria, Cape Verde, and Morocco.
Jeff is currently pursuing a Master of Leadership (MA) in Sustainable Finance from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
