Mentorship can be defined as a relational experience in which one empowers another by sharing knowledge, skills and experience.
In appreciation that there is nothing we own/posses that God has not given us then I would rephrase this definition to read; ‘’Mentorship refers to a relational experience in which one empowers another by sharing God given resources (knowledge, skills and experience).
14 men and women patiently sat through two days of our intensive mentors training in Mombasa from 27th /07/2017 to 28th /07/2017. At the end of the training they were confident to have acquired the skills needed to go out and, “empower another by sharing God given resources”. ‘’What we have learned we can’t keep to ourselves, we are burning to go out and pass it on to others’’ said one of the mentors at the end of the training.
My prayer for these God fearing entrepreneurs is that they will pass on what we have taught them, through mentoring, to other reliable entrepreneurs who will also pass it on to others. Our joy is to see 2Tim 2:2 lived out in the lives of God fearing entrepreneurs through mentorship.
