This project seeks to demonstrate relevant adaptive measures, approaches and interventions that will contribute towards the building of resilience of the vulnerable communities in terms of the biodiversity and ecosystem, reducing their vulnerabilities to climatic shocks and securing employment opportunities, food and income.

  1. Two hundred [200] households are practicing improved land management and gender-sensitive climate resilience agricultural practices and technologies which reduce the negative impact of climate change through enhanced food security and sustainable ecosystems.
  2. Empowered and active participation of the resource poor households, particularly women, through producer associations [PA] established and organized around the production and marketing of indigenous chickens, mangoes, moringa oleifera and selected vegetables.
