Agri-business based in Kilifi

Posted: February 19, 2017

In Kilifi, a town that lies between Malindi and Mombasa, Nelson Ndoro is transforming his community through farming. Trained in July 2010, lessons on networking to build strong associations stood out for him.

As a startup, he learned how to plan his business, keep records and manage his cash flows. He grows kales, black nightshade, eggplants, okra and cherry tomatoes in his 1-acre farm. Nelson intends to use the farm as an example to the youth around Kilifi to help them see the difference they can make by using available resources around them.

Encouraged by our visit, he wrote the following:-

I am honored to have been visited during the ongoing follow up exercise. This has been a big energizer and encouragement as I work on the implementation of the knowledge acquired during the training with EPTF. I say a big thank you for your concern & encouragement. May God continually bless EPTF and the entire staff in their endeavor to transform society through Kingdom business entrepreneurship.
